Lani Kai: I used a tilt-shift lens for this photo
Lani Kai: the focal plane is normally parallel to the imaging plane
Lani Kai: but when the lens is tilted, the focal plane tilts with it
Lani Kai: essentially, the focal plane in this image is at an angle to the imaging plane
Lani Kai: so you have focus down that plane, all the way back to the hills
