Lani Kai: in this picture I was able to capture the seagull with the sky as a background, yet include the palm tree to make the image more interesting
Lani Kai: I really like how the shape of the seagull complements the shape of the palm tree
Lani Kai: if this had been taken just a split second later, the seagull would have had a cluttered, green background
