Trypto: I decided to fill it in with black since it was blurry from me not being able to hold still
Trypto: then I made big circular selection centered on the ring
Trypto: feathered the edge by 250 pixels, and filled it with white
Trypto: and that's why it glows there...
Trypto: I used the gradient bucket to fill the ring with red and black
