LXXXIX: ESPN2

© Lani Kai
Trypto: nice photo
Trypto: just like out of ESPN2
Lani Kai: the player in front of the goalie is probably blocking a shot
Lani Kai: and the guy in the white in the background is probably waiting for a rebound
Lani Kai: the other guy... looks like he's just standing there

if the guy in front of the net is helping his goalie blocking a shot, how come he is wearing the opposite jersey as the goalie?

That's a very good question. Explain yourself, coblogger.

The goalie was wearing an odd jersey for some reason... As were a few other skaters. They don't seem to care as long as you're wearing white if you're on the home team and a dark color if you're on the visitor team. This, however, does not hold for the goalie who, apparently, can wear any color since presumably no skater is dumb enough to confuse which way he is supposed to go. That, and this was a "practice game" and the regular season doesn't start until next week, so the formal regulations concerning jerseys (for example, player numbers is another issue) are not strictly enforced.
